‘APCs in the Wild’ – Exploring funding streams for an accelerated transition to open access | 5th May 2020
In this webinar recording Jessica Monaghan, Head of Policy and Performance, Open Access at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê talks about the results of recent interviews with 16 institutions which showed their ability to track article processing charges (APCs) varies widely. We also surveyed more than 1,000 аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê authors and found that over a quarter of authors used only ‘wild’ funding sources for their APCs, in other words, sources that are more difficult for an institution or funder to monitor and track.
